AGI/DEX Build
The AGI/DEX build is one of the most used builds due to the fact that you can level very easy and fast with it. A sample build would be(Totals, with gears and buffs):
* DEX 140~160
* AGI 120~130
* VIT 1~40
* INT 1~40
With that 30-40 INT you’re getting about 50-100 more SP then with INT at 1, which is really nice for leveling a Sniper. With the 30-40 VIT you’re giving yourself more HP and defense, which is always good. All you really need skill-wise are Double Strafe, Ankle Snare, Improve Concentration, Vulture’s Eye, Owl’s Eye, and Arrow Repel for this build to work nicely.
Sample Equipment for the AGI/DEX build
* Upper Headgear: Apple of Archer, Ulle’s Cap [1], Alice Doll [1], Feather Beret, Ramen Hat, Crown of Mistress, Etc. With cards like: Incubus, Blue Acidus and etc.
* Middle Headgear: Binoculars, Sunglasses [1], Blinker, Dark Blinder, Masquerade.
* Lower Headgear: Flu Mask, Gangster Mask, Anything you want.
* Armor: Tights [0] or [1], Odin’s Blessing [1], Pantie [0] or [1], Valkyrie’s Armor [1]. With various cards like: Marc, Peco Peco, Evil Druid, Pasana, Succubus, Anolian and etc. Tights are for starters, since rocker card is easy to find, 2 dex +5 atk is awsome beggining armor! Ulle's+Odin's is a great SP reduction combo, all i needed for enchanted peach hunts! By the way, most pvm/mvp hunters wear Porcellio valk or porcelio pantie (5 agi boost ftw with underwear)
* Garments: Muffler [1], Wool Scarf [1], Vali’s Manteau, Crest of the Rider [0] and [1], Heavenly Maiden’s Robe [1], Undershirt [0] and [1], Valkyrie’s Manteau [1]. With Cards like: Raydric, Whisper, Bapho Jr., Dragon Tail and etc. Okay.. undershirt with dragon tail is THE WIN, wool scarf would be more woe'ish.
* Footwear: Shoes [1], Boots [1], Tidal Shoes [1], Valkyrie’s Shoes [1], Black Leather Boots [0] or [1], Vidar’s Boots. With cards like: Green Ferus, Matyr, Verit, Merman, etc. If you play ragnarok you know what boots you wear.
* Accessories: Vesper Core 03, Gloves [1], Brooches [1], Orleans Gloves [1], Horn of Buffalo[1], Rosary[1]. With cards like: Alligator, Zerom, Smokie, Kukre, etc.
This is though to explain, but here we go.
agi / dex types should main 150~160 dex, that mean glove[1] w/ zerom is a MUST. if you can afford at least one, and pick 150 dex type, u'll see a Vesper core 03 (3agi) is the best to complete your sniper
* Weapons: There are many, many options for a good bow. If you’re low on cash a +5-7 Hunter’s Bow works perfectly fine FOR LEVELING. You can also use the Burning/Earthen/Freezing/Gale/Orc Archer’s Bows.
Oke..
Listen up.
Orc archer's bow is the win. endowed it is as good as a +10 comp[4] with the right cards.
That means you don't have to waste millions and millions on different bows for different porpuses, but you'll have to endow yourself every 30 minutes, or everytime you die (aspersio runs out kinda quickly, thats why banshee killing comp bow is the way.)
If you need money and you like the sniper, check the Zeny guides, for the Sniper money maker guide!
The Trapper
The Trapper focuses on using traps as its main damage-dealing (also, it is the most woe-requisited, for their defending castle such as ankle snare).
A sample build would be (Totals, with gears and buffs):
* DEX 130~140
* INT 90~110
* VIT 60~80
* STR 20~40
* AGI or LUK for remaining stats
or
* DEX 150
* INT 30
* VIT 90
* STR 30
rest distribute into something you feel the need for.
Most of the damage-dealing traps have an INT+DEX = damage boosting equation, so you’re going to want to have a decent INT/DEX ratio. I’m not sure if you need AGI, but since you’re going to be mobbing with this build, I swapped it out with VIT on first build. Put some STR so you can hold more traps and stuff. Falcon Assault will compliment this build since you have high INT/DEX.
In WoE, you'll be using sandman / ankle snare randomly into warps, and if defending castle, set them in emp/pre-emp in a way there is no way enemy will pass through it, like small places are the best. Also, try to place where your teammates can see, because if so, a trapped enemy is a dead enemy, if they don't see him, he'll hide until pass through all traps and you fail.
keep in mind that your goal is lock the enemy to the place so people can finish him off.
Have fun!
